Richard Had a call today on my mobile - from an Indian gentleman called Matthew Roberts. He said re could reduce my debt due to new government legislation. I said I would check his company via the internet - but it was difficult to stop him talking. Obviously I have checked this out and will not answer any more calls.

Darren Called my landline today at lunchtime. A lady spoke to me Indian accent but incomprehensible. After asking her to repeat herself the line went dead. About 30 minutes later I had the same number contact my mobile number which I left. I will not be picking up anything from this number following following reading all the other complaints.

Richie Even after the threat of calling the police and a promise of removing me from the list, they called again 3 times today. I am quite happy to pursue this, can anybody suggest the best way forward ?

Eliza I was telephoned once on Sat 6th Feb am and Thurs 10th pm and both times the caller hung up? Hopefully that will be it!.............

Sue I have also been getting calls noticed them today three times i have been called now and with only 30 mins between each call. I was called just again as i started typing this. I rang back and some bloke answered i decided just to hang up as all he said was hello and no name of a company!!! Very strange. Wish they would stop calling as im supposed to be ex directory!!

Richie Have been rung 5 times aday for last 4 days, from 09:00 - 19 :00 Rang them back this evening, spoke to an Indian gentleman called Kevin and threatened to report them to the police. He apologised, said he had removed my number from their list and said thank you for calling the bureau. Now waiting to see if they stop or not.

glen The first call we received from this number was met with silence and the line left open. The second call had the same Jack Smith on the line giving the same speal as detailed above. He was told we were not interested but have since had another missed call from them.

Madge Have called twice and the line is just dead but the phone line is left open for a period of time leaving me unable to make or receive calls.

stephen called on 8th of Feb 2010 and it was a indian Gentleman on the Phone he was claming to be from the Advice Bureau to help reduce debt with help from the Goverment etc after asking him a few simple questions like a name and contact number for the company the gentlman would fail to answer the questions and dodge them with counter questions then eventually said they were based in India and his name was Jack Smith which i found hard to belive. i had asked if the call was being recorded and was informed that it was due to trainning purpose to whih i replied why was i not informed of this at the start of the call so asked to talk to a supervisor and was put on to another gentleman who said that it was "Jack Smith " first day i asked what service they provide he went on to explain the goverment law about the debt scheme so after more questions on this so called company he eventually hung up the phone. BE AWARE THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

Kavboi They ring loads of times a day asking for someone who does not live here. Despite losing my temper in the end, they still ring. I am keeping a log now and will seek legal advice and see about suing them!
