Just had a "technician" on who wanted to talk about my computer. Have heard of these before and have similar calls so just put the phone down. We didn't get as far as any diagnostics, or any further than that he wanted to talk about my computer...

My mother in law just got a call on her landline from PC Wizard saying they understand she has just purchased a new computer and that it dosent have antivirus etc. She is worried as this is the case but me and my husband are sorting for her. How do they know this information. Where do they get it from as she purchased from Currys in store. She questioned them and they eventually put phone down on her as she kept asking where they got her information from.

just hang up , they fishing for details ,going on about someone hacking my computor

they keep calling saying i have errors on my computer , making accusations that i am operating a faulty system.
