ive had three calls from this number today and its really annoying me!!!

2 call today and when I answer they hang up - any ideas how to stop these calls ?

phone me about 4 times a day,soon as I answer,they put phone down,called back straight into a tele marketing call,how do you stop these parasites ??

Surely this scam can't be ethical. I'd like to know where they got my number from in case data protection rights have been broken, then I could report whoever.

Also bombarded with calls and offers of £50 since using confused.com

These people are a pain in the a**e, I only answer my phone at work in an emergency and am sick of being offered FREE £50, don't even pick up

This number called me today and when i answer, they simply hang up

Called me offering me fifty pounds. When I said I wasn't interested in whatever they were offering, the woman got very shirty.

2nd call from this lot today. I told the northern guy that I had looked the number up on this site and told him about the comments. He told me that "it sounds like your blagging it". I hung up.

Like others who have complained I havenow received - 2 calls since 20th from same number, 1st I ignored then answered - call centre and very pushy annoying guy trying to get me to win minimum £50!! Said I was at work then he dares tell me "well you had time to answer the call so you must have a couple of minutes spare!" Not amused and will ignore and get ex directory - Don't answer guys!!

This people are a joke. If you tell them you know they're tele-marketers and hang-up guarantee you'll get at least 10 calls from different operators within next 30 minutes while your number does the rounds in their call centre and someone to hassle. I have been plagued with tele-marketer calls since using "Confused.com" who are clearly selling their data off to highest bidders.

rang me and hung up and then rang again an hour later, the girl asked how I was today and when I responded with I'm working what do you want she hung up! where do these oxygen theives get our mobile numbers from?

Just had a call from these people. Whilst talking to them i looked their number up on internet and saw all your comments, so.... I told them i was very interested in what they were offering and asked them to wait a moment and put the mobile on my desk and left it there. I think they held on for about 5 mins before realising i was never coming back to them. I then left it a further 30 mins before i disconnected the call at my end - i've heard that until both sides disconnect the other person can't use their phone line. Not sure if this is true but it made me chuckle and feel happier about the call.

they rang me at 1.34am today and blocked my line for 3-4 minutes.

I just received a call from this number, there was a lot of noise in the background and I had to say hello twice before they answered. The gentleman had a liverpool accent, and asked if this was a business. When I said yes, he hung up.

This same number keeps ringing my mobile. Everytime I answer they have hung up. It seems this is a firm with 'autocall' and the first 20 that answer get to speak, the rest are thrown off... This is illegal in UK now isnt it? So are they calling from abroad via a Liverpool number?

Phoned me to say I could be eligible for winning £50 and then proceeded to ask me about how long I'd been driving for and had I been in an accident at all. I replied "yes" and then he went on to say that for every car accident insurance companies put by £1500 compensation for the party not at fault & wanted to put me through to one of their solicitors. I said I didn't want to claim anything and he wouldn't give up so I said "right, I'm hanging up now" and did just that!

This number called just now and didn't hang up....she said she was calling from a company I couldn't make out and that my number had been selected to win £50 by the end of the phone call. I said 'No thanks, I'm not interested' and she hung up. Lots of noise in the background and she laughed at me when I said 'yeah?' to 'how are you today'...

i,m having the expericence as other ppl here and its so annoying, can anyting be done to stop these calls coming.

The same as the others - I've been called a few times from this number and cut off as soon as I answered.

Even after I've asked them not to call I'm still getting the phone calls. Such a pain in the arse.

Just phoned - we cut her off before she could get into her stride. Also we had a call from another 01517 number which I'm just about to investigate. Very annoying.

Keeps on ringing my mobile, and hanging up before i answer to know who it is...

Keep ringing my mobile, the few times anyone speaks they ask about a car I have never owned. Very annoying have rang my mobile about 4 times over the last 24 hours and put down as soon as I answer.

Number has been calling me for ages very very annoying picked up few times kept going off so have decided to ignore but they keep calling obviously cant take a hint!!
