Incidentally, I have been told that when you get a call of this type where they are asking for all your details, it's okay to give your name but NEVER give your date of birth as, apparently, this is an admission to a debt - whether you have one or not!!

I have just had a call on my mobile from this number. Reading this thread tells me that it is EOS solutions calling me yet again, despite the bill being paid back in December. They have called me on my house phone innumerable times, only for me to tell them again and again that the bill is paid. (£65). I received an invoice from them last week on which I wrote in pink, orange and green highlighted pen that the bill has been paid and that I am sick and tired of them contacting me. I have already taken up the matter with CSA (Credit Service Association) who are looking into it. the contact is Louise Halpin and the email is Louise@csa-uk.com. What really hacks me off is that EOS contacted me on behalf of EDF Energy just 3 weeks after I moved home. Also, If that can't get hold of me, they have also traced my daughter and keep ringing her to get her to tell me to call them!! May I suggest that everyone who is getting bugged by EOS Solutions contact Louise on the above email address....

keeps ringing up and asking for all the householders details. and is rude when we tell them to go away and its none of there buisness and they wont explain what they want. then tonight the same number rang as well as yesterday around the same time and you say hello then they wait 3 seconds and then hang up. This is bloody annoying, and why cant they stop it?

Just received a call about this number. The guy knew my first name, and asked me to confirm the rest of name. I did. He told me the name of my street and asked me to confirm my address. I enquired the purpose of his call; he said there was an unpaid utility bill for which I was accountable. I asked him to elaborate, he refused. I refused to give any further information, he said he would have to take the matter further. I hung up.

Called and immediately hung up. Did 1471, googled it. Presume this is a scam where you call back to see who it was and are charged at premium rate.

I have had several calls from this number and have not picked it up before as I did not recognise the number and saw the previous complaint on your site about this number. Today I picked it up and the caller asked for "Harold" (no surname). I told him he had got the wrong number and he asked me how long I had had this number. I asked him who he was and why he was asking, and he rudely said "that's irrelevant isn't it? I want to know who you are". Needless to say I hung up! This call was definitely from a company as there was noise of other people making calls in the background.

I had a call today from this number saying it was a Mr Miller from EOS solutions and he was ringing regarding an unpaid utility bill of mine. I told him I had never had an unpaid utility bill. He then asked me to confirm my full name for security purposes, which I refused and explained that I had no idea who he was. I asked which utility bill he was referring to and he said he couldn't tell me that until I'd confirmed my details. I told him there was no way I was going to give him any of my details and he said goodbye! If this was a genuine call, which I am confident it was not as I have no unpaid utility bills, he would not have asked for my personal details as he was the one who rang me. I called the number back and the ringtone was that of an International call so I quickly rang off - it would probably cost me a fortune! All sounds a bit dodgy to me .... beware!
