Same here! `Dead` every time. This is a Guiseley (Yorkshire) area code. Thats only 2 miles from here so if I could find out where they live I could go & hammer on their door - preferably with a sledge hammer!!

After numerous silent calls from this number I eventually got to speak to someone, it is a company selling extended warranties on Sky tv equipment, digi boxes,dishes etc.

I've had 9 silent calls from this number in two days. Number is dead on phoning back. I called BT nuisance calls unit who confirmed it is a sales line and that I am on the Telephone Preference register. They said they would contact them and asked me to let them know if any more calls after 24 hrs. Fingers crossed.

Same more than three calls a day dead line when i pick up. what the hell is this. this is phone abuse.

Hanging up. This is supposed to be a confidential business number too, so it's even more frustrating!
