I was phoned by this number one evening . They said they were following up on a questionnaire I had completed and it was about Funeral Plans. I had never completed any such questionnaire. I asked who they were - Golden Charter. I emailed the company and asked them to provide me with all the information they held on me - according to Data Protection Act - I wanted to see what this so- called questionnaire information was. I was assured by a member of staff that my complaint would be investigated and they would get back to me within a month. Guess what...no reply from them . Now taking this forward thro Infomation Commissioner - will post update .

I rang this number back and it was a company called Golden Charter Funeral Plans. I had my number blocked from these nucience calls but still keep getting them. It's got to the stage now where if I get a number starting 0800 or 0845 I just don't bother answering the phone. If it's someone important they'll leave a message on my 1571 and I'll ring them back. If not then they can just SOD OFF

Answered the phone and asked who was calling. Was told it was David from Golden Charter. I said I had not asked for a call and did not want the call and cut the caller off. I found however that the line was still open and could not cut it off or use the phone. I disconnected the line from the wall socket but it took a few minutes before the phone eventually cleared.

This number has rung twice in 1 day. No conversation or noise but has rung off after approx 1 minute. Have seasrched computor records to try and trace but with no luck. I am apensioner and this is a worry that it could be an expensive scam. Where does one go to put a stop to it ?

This number has been phoning for over a week now just about every day. Never answers when I answer the phone. Never leaves an answer message when I leave the machine on. I rang BT who asked if I had rung them back . When I said no because I felt at risk they contacted the number. I was told by BT that it was a company I had contacted first. They would not tell me who it was! I have no knowledge of this. If they were bons fide why do they not reply. This is harrasment
