why are these people stopped using this number just rings off with noone answereing

Its 1100 hrs. Just had call from this number, no answer. Am pis*** *** with these no answer calls.

Why cannot someone 'shaft' these people. When you pick up the phone it cuts off. No doubt it is just to confirm that the number is active and then they use another number to annoy you yet again. Where is legislation?

Why am I complaining on here?? Who's going to do anything about it?? No one has so far. And chances are, no one will. Keep moaning people, at least you vent your frustration, if nothing else.

Phones mid evening if I don't pick up they keep ringing. When you pick up they just put the phone down. Why do they bother.

When this number rings you and you pick it up and it clears down, it's because the company has an auto dialler and when you pick up and the machine can't find an agent to take the call it clears the call.

They rang 2050 on 27/08/2009. Clearly trying to sell, so I pointed out I am on TPS, and they are breaking the law by phoning me, and rang off.

Rang today - we answered immediately. They hung up. Second or third time we've had this no. in the last two weeks.

Hung up immediately when answered call - phoned back straight away - rang & rang & rang & then got pre-recorded call saying that 'it is not possible to take this call at the moment & you cannot leave a message' or words to this effect - sure BT can trace the (mis)users / abusers of this & many other similar numbers ?3en

04/02/09 at 4.05 pm; they hung up immediately. Return phone call 'could not be taken at the moment'.

17/12/08 @ 11.26 call received, answered and caller hung up immediately.

12:30 pm. 18/12/08 They hang up when I answer. 2nd call this week.
