I am getting at least 2 automated calls a day asking for someone who does not live here. I have taken the time and trouble of going through the automated process to inform the co-op this person does not live here but still the calls persist.
Yes, I'm a customer of the Coop. I had a late payment which I straightened out immediately. I've complained to them but I'm still getting 4/5 calls per day with hangups. This is harassment and would be very worrying for someone that couldn't cope with it.
2 nuisance calls with no voice in one day
Yep, it's the Co-op bank. The automated system asks for your telephone number and further details. This flies in the face of all advice regarding giving information about yourself over the telephone to a non confirmed source. Why don't they simply ask customers to call them back on their regular number when there is a problem? I got the call when my credit card payment was overdue. They had a fault with their statement department - they admitted they hadn't sent bills to a number of their customers, subsequently we were getting charged overdue fees. It was all sorted out very quickly to my satisfaction except the automated calls continued...... I like the Co-op's ethical policies, unfortunately, this is an unethical exception!
its the co-op bank credit card dept.
I am currently abroad and have received several of their calls ....
This computer is phoning us six, seven, eight times a day. This is harrassment, and it should be illegal.
