Bombarded by calls from this number on 2 separate occasions. The first time (last week)you could hear all the call centre noise in the background but there was nobody on the line - they rang 8 times in succession, every time I put the phone down it rang again immediately from the same number. The same thing happened again today - they rang 6 times but there was someone on the line each time. Again as I put the phone down it immediately rang again but with a different member of their staff on the line. They are a real nuisance.

They are called Weatherseal based in Yorkshire and are part of the safe style windows, they are a nuisance, I would never use Safe Style windows ever again either, rubbish service on fitting and after sales customer service.

Am on TPS but nevertheless got an unsolicited call from Luke at Weatherseals. I advised him I was on TPS and asked for his name and department: he refused to answer my questions and stated "It's not my job to answer that information". I asked him whether his company checked the TPS lists as required by law and he said "I don't have to give you that information". So I did 1471 and reported them to the TPS by submitting a complaint online at http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/Consumer/ VERY IMPORTANT - IF YOU GET HASSLED BY THIS SO CALLED COMPANY AND ARE REGISTERED ON TPS, YOU SHOULD REGISTER A COMPLAINT. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET ENFORCEMENT ACTION TAKEN BY THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER AGAINST THESE INCONSIDERATE MUPPETS.

08458638310 phoned just now - 14:40 on a Saturday - noise in background sounded like a porn film - I was quite alarmed. They hung up after I said hello. My number is ex directory.

Unsolicited call on an ex-directory number, not the firsttime they have ring. when askec who they where and how to be removed they just hang up.

Phone call came at 3.05am - tape just running round - bad enough during the day - empathise with person who said about worry concerning sick relative - people who run these automated phone intrusions ought to be disturbed every night at random until they take an axe to their machines.

A guy (with a lot of noise in the background) simply kept saying hello. So I did the same. Then eventually he hung up. Glad to find this site, and will telephone head office of Wetherfield if they ring again.

keeps ringing and when the phone is picked up a part recorded message is playing, a complete pain, these people should be subjected to their own systems!!!! :-(

Received phone call at 2.10am, woke everyone up but also was very worrying as have a very sick relative and feared the worst!

rang at 12.33am no answer woke entire house up mainly 3 people with learning disablitys and me who has got to get up at 6am very anoyed the company blamed a computor

Phone rang at 00.10 29th June waking up household. Automated message but didn't catch name before I hung up. Rang BT this morning as have registered with TPS. BT cannot do anything if call comes from abroad and couldn't tell me who number is registered to. Could only suggest googling the number!

This happened to me at 02:15 but only once. The next day i traced the number through google and it came back as Weatherseal. I called one of there many offices on 0800041041 and spoke to a man who advised it cannot be them has the call centres close at 20:00, i advised the man the lines operate on something called a predictive dialling system where a computer dials numbers ramdomley and must be switched off at the close of business, the man appoligised and said he will take my number off there list.

for the last 2 weeks i have had 20 phone calls of these people most of the time they hang up, others i am saying hello to get no answer then tonight at 10.55 pm i get another call and they hang up when i answered getting ridiculace now and i am getting very annoyed.

calls 4 times aday! even on sundays. if it goes to answer machine it beeps continuously or if we pick up the line goes dead.

Phone rang at approx 20:29 (27th April 2010), I was by my telephone and answered promptly, I didnt even get the chance to speak and the phone slammed down on the other side. Very annoying.! Google searched their number and saw these logged complaints, so I added my own. Idiots.!! :-(

I have received repeated calls from this number over a period of months. Invariably the caller hangs up on any response. I am not prepared to call any 0845 numbers in reply to cold calling of this nature.

Got a call from them today, said from Weatherseal, they said doing market research about windows not selling anything. Asked me if I wanted to replace windows how many I would do, I said all of them. He then said he will pass my details onto a colleague who will call me back about the promotion they have!!!!!

Phoned during the day and yelled 'you don't stand a chance' before hanging. Then a later call from 0888 888 8888 with silence - are the two related and from Weatherseal?

Keep ringing up and leaving the line open before ending the call when im saying hello? Hello?. ive got an inkling into why alot of people are getting young voices on. My friend works for a similar phone company and hes 17. he says all they have to do is sit at a desk and ring up random numbers on a list. He says you don't even have to make a sale to get paid. My theory being that they ring up leave the line open for a few seconds to register the call then put it down. On there records there making a lot more phone calls yet no sales. but the individual doesn't care. Anyone think different?

One of the young girls call me at my home today(Monday) at approx 16:30,When I told her I did not buy over the phone she was very rude,please don,t ring again as I will be intouch with someone over this, all calls go to my answer machine

Firstly, they asked me how I was - irritating, considering they are attempting (poorly) to make me be taken in by what they're going to say next. Secondly, the guy said his name, didn't state the company name (it was about window repairs or something) and then claimed it wasn't a sales pitch - a blatant lie. Thirdly, he asked me about my windows, before I hung up. These people are pests and should be stopped.

I always get a call at lunchtime between 1-2pm once or twice a week, every time i have to get up and go to the phone whilst taking a break from a hard mornings work and when ever i answer the phone goes dead, very irritatting

just got a call from them, some young woman who spoke WAY to fast introduced herself, didn't catch the name but said she was from weatherfield. (or wetherfield? [spelling unsure]) then she immediately said it wasn't a sales call, (load of BS) and then asked me to look out my windows and asked how many windows I wanted to replace. then the line broke up for 10 seconds somehow, then she comes back on the line like "hello?" and I hung up.

This number has rung me 3 times in the last 30 minutes. Everytime I answer, they hang up. Very annoying.

I foolishly answered some on-line surveys this is the only way these people could have got my number. Surveys! They are just a con and a way of getting round the telephone preference. Now when I do get to speak to a person its "You completed a survey recently - this isn't a sales call we are just following up on your answers" then comes the sales pitch. This number keeps ringing but never leaves a message - it is a nuisance and some action needs to be taken - how about it BT?

They keep calling and never say anything, and never leave a message if the call goes on to answerphone. We are ex-directory and always tick or untick the right boxes on forms to say we don't want to be contacted, so they ought not to have our number! Isn't there some law against this?

Phone rang, answered with the "Good afternoon - and the company I work for Name" they said "Pardon", I repeated it clearer, so they could understand the company name, they said "Sorry wrong number" and hung up. I made a note of the number and it was 08458638310

This number rang me at about 1455 on 06/06/09 and predictably hung up when I answeerd the phone.

This number rings me regularly, mostly during the day when I'm at work but when I do answer no-one is on the other end of the line, then it goes dead.

Rang today, could hear people in the back ground and then they just hung up. These calls do my head in. Rang back but they never answer. Something should be done about this.

will keep phoning at night. i am disabled and find getting to phone very difficult. they won't say who they are-just break into a speech. i put phone down but they just ring back sometimes straight away. i need my phone for emergencies-why won't they leave me alone ?

cold call at 3.30 saturday afternoon. i answered but no one spoke - there were noises in the background, thought it was a mobile or something. very weird.

This number called at 8.25pm 9th Feb 09 and the young guy said Good evening but I put the phone down straight away. Damn pest arent they.

Called at 12:51, hung up the moment I answered. Presumably noticed I was registered with Telephone Preference Service at that point.

said they were doing a survey. i asked for their telephone number . they said , why do you want it, so i said you've got mine so i want yours, then they hung up

Rang and I am getting quite good at knowing if its one of these damned cold calls as there isnt the usual noise at the other end and I quickly put the phone down and by doing so I hope I confuse the machine programme that switches on. I get bombarded with these calls all day long but they seem to have stopped abit of late and then suddenly started up again.. This above number called today and I quickly put the phone down, rang last number recall and then dialled it but no one answers at all. They really are a pest arent they.
