This is Harrington Brooks. http://www.harringtonbrooks.co.uk/ They provide debt management plans and IVA's Best way to stop calls is to: 1. Answer the call. 2. Tell the caller you are the person they are trying to contact. 3. Tell them you are not interested. (or have no debts) 4. Tell them you don't want to be contacted again. The best thing to say is “add my number to the no-dial list”. This means if they get your details from elsewhere; you should not be called again. If you don't want to answer the call, then tell them not to call you again via their website http://www.harringtonbrooks.co.uk/contact The caller won't know this; but you could also ask them to email you where they got your details from. In most cases this will be a supplier of data. The data supplier sells details of people recently declined for credit or recently defaulting on a credit agreement; or others profiles matching someone potentially with debt problems. So, If you no clue why they would be calling you, maybe you should get your credit file checked. Hope this help Charlotte.
